What should do if The sand is getting finer and the stone powder content is getting higher and higher during the sand making process.

In the sand making process, a company found that the sand is getting finer and finer, the fineness is getting smaller and smaller, and the stone powder content in the sand is getting higher and higher. See Table 1 (sieving results of sand under normal conditions) and Table 2 (abnormal sand screen) Sub-result). After checking the stone, it was found that the stone was dry, not caused by the wet stone and the stone powder. After checking the screen, it was found that the screen was normal and the screen hole was not blocked; other instrument data were normal; the feed amount was reduced, and the wind was increased. There is no improvement in the amount of air selected. Due to the excessive content of stone powder in the sand, the quality of the mortar is affected, and the cause of the failure can only be stopped.

It can be seen from Table 1 that the normal sand fineness is about 2.5, and the percentage of the sieve residue of the two grades of 0.075 mm and the bottom should be less than 5%. From Table 2, abnormal sand can be seen, and the fineness has decreased. By about 2.0, the percentage of the sieves of the two grades of 0.075mm and the bottom has been as high as 19%, and the stone powder has not been pumped away. In this way, according to the mortar produced by the original normal sand design, the powder is more than 14%. The excessive amount of stone powder in the mortar will lead to the decrease of strength, and the wall after plastering will shrink due to excessive powder. Large and cracked.

Empty the stone powder bin and continue to make sand. The sand grade produced will return to normal, see Table 3. Fix the upper limit alarm device of the stone powder bin. After the stone powder in the stone powder bin rises to the upper limit, the sand will be stopped immediately, and the sand powder bin will be empty and then sanded.
